If I find the time today, I'll make a POST example today
and try to deploy it at MyJavaServer in order to reproduce
the problem. Remark that the first example doesn't have
all the workarounds that are 'under construction' in the
tutorial.

That's very odd. What do you get instead?
An error message? A blank PDF? Document contains no data?
What happens on the server side? Is there something in the errorlog?

Please wait an hour or four and then take a look at
the updated tutorial page on WebApps. Try some workarounds
and post a new message if the workarounds didn't help.
