Hi:
I am confused about which of these classes I should
use when I generate my pdf reports. The table class is
richer in features and I am very inclined to use it,
on the other hand I saw in the tutorial that the Table
class is qualified as old and not supported. I found
that having two table classes, two cell classes (that
are not related at all through inheritance) confusing.
I used PdfPTable so far but I have this requirement
that would be very easy to implement with the Table
class. Basically I have a table with a header and I
want to draw a border underneath the header with small
gaps between columns. However, in PdfPTable I
specified the bottom border for all the header cells
and the line is contiguous. There seems to be no way
to create these small gaps between the columns other
than using a cell event and draw the borders there
which is kind of crazy. With the Table class, problem
solved, I use the setSpacing method.
