OR you need to start investing in writing XFA-modifying code...
This way, I have to add all the functionality by code, cause the
appearence remains.

There are things that Designer implements that aren't
possible in the older AcroForms...
I really don't know if there's any other way to work it out, cause actually
the iText doesn't support the PDF created with Designer.
No, but it could be made to - if someone invested the
engineering effort.
