Thanks, so if I use PdfCopy to import and edit a
page in the following way (getting at
the direct content) would it preserve the
annotations?

PdfCopier=new PdfCopy(document, new

PdfContentByte cb = copier.getDirectContent();
[... do some editing of pdfcontentbyte ...]
