do not worry, I have solved the problem ;-)

The problem was, that I had an intermediate rendering step which had to
fill partial sums of the table contents into a page footer.
(Exactly the sums of cells which were rendered at the exact page the
footer belongs to)
The problem was that the page events which render the footer were
triggered after the full table was filled and thus a rendering of the
sums on the fly was not possible.

I now solved the problem by a combination of cell and page events, which
seem to be called in the correct order and a temporary storage of the
table contents on my side.
Thus I was able to render the page sums on the fly by intercepting the
cell and page events and the positional determination of the cells
affected by the current page rendering.
