Hi folks, we use the same itext implementation on two different linux systems. One system is based on a pc hardware running debian and the other one (the slower) is a hp proLiant blade server with two cpus and 4 gb ram running redhat es4. In my imagination the server should be faster than the pc but the behaviour is the other way around ;-(
Does anybody know what the problem could be? Does itext uses additional operating system libraries like font-libraries, shared libraries, graphic drivers and so on?
