Hi, I need to develop an Application that every day will search for KeyWords in Indexed PDF files (this search must be VERY fast) and will send an e-mail to Users in case of a successful search. The User wil open the e-mail and click on a Link that will open the Browser (Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox) and show the page where the KeyWord was found with the KeyWord highlighted (one or more Occurrences). There will be 2 Applications to handle this. A Desktop Application will Index the Files, Search the KeyWords and send e-mails. This Application will be developed using Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9. A Web Application will be responsible to show the Occurrences to the User and this Application will be developed using JAVA. Where iText could be useful for me?
