You should see first if your printer and/or paper can support the density
you require. What setX and setN are you using?

Subject: [iText-questions] How to specify (set) density in barcode label?
Hi,
When I create a barcode label (barcode39)without
setting setX() and setN, our sacnner is scanning the
barcode. When I use setX() and setN()to meet our label
requirement, labels are not scanning.
I called our scanner vendor, they said these are not
scanning because they are too dense. How will I set
density (I think spacing between each bar in a barcode
lable)?
I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
-Raja
