        Paulo already answered it, but I'll also add one additional comment.

        There are two standard JPEG2000 file formats - .jp2 and .jpx.  The former can only represent RGB-based images and not all of the parts of the JP2K spec, while the latter is MUCH richer in capabilities.   JP2K data in a PDF prefers the latter.
