sorry, my mistake. setFillOpacity works.
THe problem was that I used the JPedal open source viewer
to display the pdf, and that viewer doesn't display
transparent fonts.

Hi,

I use the PDFStamper and the ...getOverContent to
insert a "DUPLICATE" string on each page of an
existing PDF. Everythings works fine.
The only problem is that the text color is solid.
How can I achieve transparence. The setFillOpacity(0.5f) 
doesn't seem to work with fonts.

Any ideas,
