Hi all,
I want to sign a PDF file in a server with a certificate installed in my
browser (Firefox). This is the way i've thought to do it:
1- Client: Asks for the PDF to be signed
2- Server: Creates a messageDigest for the PDF file and sends this hash
(probably base-64 encoded) to client
3- Client: Signs the digest using javascript (using crypto.signText) and
sends the signed-digest back to the server
4- Inserts the digest in the PDF.
Questions:
- Will this work?
- Is there another (better) way to achieve this?
- Is there any tutorial, sample, or whatever, out there?
Thanks,
--
