You THINK you have made your form using Acrobat Pro 7,
but in reality you have made it using Adobe LiveCycle.
You THINK you have made an AcroForm, but in reality
you have made an XFA form.
If you want to make an AcroForm, add the fields as
annotations (for instance a TextField annotation); this is
a different menu in Acrobat. Or you could force LiveCycle
to create forms the 'old style'.
