I know the concept and it's one of the reason why people love TeX. I agree with Paulo that it's interesting, but also that it's a lot of work. I have made new FAQ pages ( http://itext.ugent.be/library/faq.php ). I am working on an inventory of contributors that can also be used to post comments about this or that class file ( http://itext.ugent.be/library/source.php ) Coming up next is an 'official TODO list'. People will be able to post new ideas on those pages. As soon as it's online, you can add your suggestion to this list.
