Thank you for mentioning this! When I opened my mailbox this morning, I saw that my INBOX was full. Six hours of mail were lost. Maybe there were some important mails about the book, maybe not. Maybe some important private mails were sent to mail. They are also lost. Xavier used an alternative address to mail me. That's fine, because Xavier is an iText team member; he is allowed to use that address. If he really wants to be sure a message reaches me, he can still use that address. All other people with iText related questions should use the iText mailing list. Mail sent to the mailing list is archived; and even if a mail doesn't reach me, I can read it from the archives. From now on, mail concerning iText that is sent to me personally will be thrown away without further notice. I have talked about this problem in my blog: http://www.lowagie.com/maand.php?year=2006&month=9#154 I quote: "Meanwhile I will have to find a way to deal with my email. I think I will delete all the e-mail I receive during the filmfestival (from October 10 till October 21). This is the only way to keep it human. I just can't cope with the vast amount of mail that is sent to me personally. It's not a good solution, but it may be the only one that makes sense." I wrote this post because I had been at GovCamp (an unconference) the whole day. During this offline period my mailbox was also full. I am sure I missed a number of mails that day too. Maybe there are people that think it is unfriendly of me if I don't answer their mail. It goes both ways. I think it is very unfriendly when people don't follow the rules: http://itext.ugent.be/info/contact.php br, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
