Documents created with iText 1.01 are valid PDF documents. If you don't change the version, they are PDF 1.4 compliant. Meaning you can open them with Acrobat 5 or higher. > Sometimes the pages are printed > out of range or rotated, sometimes the page appears empty. There could be hundreds of this you are doing wrong. I don't have a crystal ball. > Using Adobe Professional 6.x, we've not problems. The iText created PDFs are valid with 6.x AND 7.x; they will even open correctly in Acrobat 8.x. > We extract pages from first document one by one using > PdfWriter.getImportedPage( ), Using what iText version? Also 1.01; I'm sorry, but we don't support versions that are 3 years old. > and add each instanced Image to a Table > object. Then we add the Table object to the Document. Yuck, class Table. We don't support class Table anymore. > Is there any incompatibility between this itext version and Adobe 7.x? > Which Adobe versions are suitable for 1.01 iText version? If I read between the lines, you are creating a PDF in Adobe 7.0 that contains functionality that is PDF1.6 specific (1.6 is the PDF version produced by Acrobat 7.0). You can create PDFs with Acrobat 7.0 that are perfectly valid for PDF 1.5 or earlier. Ask the company that provides your Acrobat support. > Any solution that not involves change iText version? Maybe, maybe not. Belgium is a cloudy country, I can't see as far as Spain from here. br, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
