This should help.
When adding a cell, the Cell constructor takes two arguments, one of
which is font.
//you can read about baseFont
BaseFont baseFont = BaseFont.createFont("specify your font here",
BaseFont.CP1252, BaseFont.NOT_EMBEDDED);
Font colfont = new Font(baseFont, 8);
Cell cell = new Cell(new Phrase("Make me bold", colfont));
table.addCell(cell);
