I changed the size to 50, 50 using PdfTemplate tpl = cb.createTemplate(50, 50); but nothing changes. The text is still not displayed. If I select the text from above to below in Acrobat Reader I see something like an empty placeholder but this was still there before. Again many thanks for your help.
