What I am trying to do is programmatically go page by page through an
existing PDF and remove all pages which consist of only a white canvas with
no text, images, or hidden text. Are there any examples I could check out
to do this or do you know of any docs that I could reference?

Remove: yes.
Detect: maybe, it depends on too many factors to explain.
