I quote: "I've been using iText for over a year, but I still learnt an
awful lot while reading this book. The author, Bruno Lowagie, created
iText and knows what he's talking about, and this shows throughout the
book; in particular, the reader benefits from Lowagie's knowledge of the
project's history and his experience using the library."

The review is very thorough and also lists some negative points I'm
aware of: Sometimes lacking in detail (I know I could easily have
written a book of 1000 pages instead of the current 657 pages) and
The amount of information presented means the order isn't always ideal
(maybe next time I should write more than one volume: an "iText for
dummies", an "iText for PDF specialists", and an "iText and forms").

Anyway: the review can be found here:

best regards,
Bruno
