I saw your patch after I made the latest release.
(I always prepare a release the day before it is
actually released). I am planning to separate iText
into an iText-core.jar and an iText-toolbox.jar
(but I'd keep an iText.jar with everything for those
who want the full iText).
Maybe you could help maintain the iText-toolbox.jar?
Only I wouldn't call the SF project javatex, because
that can confuse people, thinking it's something that
produces/interprets TeX using Java.
