I'm a total newbie, and I didn't see this addressed yet on this list.
When I try to open an itext-generated pdf in a new window, from my web
app, IE complains:
The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program.
(diddy-blah-blah-blah)

So, I have the option to Save the file or Cancel. I'd like it to just
pop right up in IE.

The java app is written in the spring framework (v 2.0.4), and hence, I
build the pdf by extending the AbstractPdfView. The view is then
generated (?) using tiles.
I've just moved my application to JBoss 4 from Oracle Application Server
(where this worked before).
I'm using itext2.0.2, but the version of itext doesn't seem to matter
(I've also tried 1.4.8 and 1.3).

So, what the devil? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dan
