Possibly this is caused by a problem in your RTF Viewer. Unfortunately as the example you provided and the colours you specified work for me, I can't provide any help. If you provide more details on the environment you use and what program you use to view the RTF, perhaps I can help you. You could also try sending me the RTF you are generating.
