i want to get the byte[] for a specific page of the PDF. I used the
getPageContent method for a pdf without a signature and it returned 192 bytes.
I used the same method with the same PDF except adding a digital signature to
it and got 47 bytes back.

Like reading the file to a byte[]? You don't need iText to do that.
