Hi, I've been using itext for about 4 years now, to add covers to pdf files. About 2 years ago I built a routine that allowed my users to upload a file (with a previously added cover) and for the server to remove the cover (java -cp itext.jar com.lowagie.tools.split_pdf $filename_c $cover $filename_temp 2) using PHP. The server then added a newly built pdf cover to the split file.
Recently, the new file has generated the pages rotated by 180degrees, except for the cover, which makes me think that its the split that is causing the problem. Are you aware of this, and if so, any ideas as to how I can solve the problem? I'd settle for being able to analyse the rotation of a document at some stage before adding the cover, and then being able to rotate if necessary. Hope you can help.
