Developers,
I'm sure this hasn't been asked twice over, but my company is finally
installing iText on our Coldfusion shared server, but I have to provide
install location for the .jar file. I tested this before on a
standalone dev box, but am wanting a more official response on exactly
where this file should be copied to. I believe I've heard to place in
the /lib folder, but also read about people having conflicts with
cfdocument. Also, I know some have talked about using some java loader,
but as this is a shared server that I have no control over, I'd like to
avoid this method and just copy the file into the web folder. Can
someone please give the official response on where to place the latest
.jar file (version 2.0.7) on Coldfusion MX 7 server?
Thanks,
Jeff Vaught | Web Developer
