Hello, to All and Merry Christmas! I sow some sollution of my problem (truncating cells with no WRAP) Here it is:
>If you really want to clip text (as opposed to 'split the text'), >you should write the text to a PdfTemplate with the desired >dimensions. Then wrap this PdfTemplate in an Image and create >a PdfPCell with that Image object. >br, >Bruno U can Find the Original Message here: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg34753.html The thing is that when i use this tehnique the look of the truncated cells is different than the ones that are not truncated. I believe this is happening because for some cells I'm using PdfPCell(new Image(template)) and for other I'm using PdfPCell(new Phrase(text)). I'm doing that because i wont to keep the the functionalities of PdfPCell an PdfPTable for the normal cells (cell which i don't need to be truncated). When I'm using the Phrase there is blank space between the text and the borders of the table, when I'm using the Image there is no such blank space. In this case this is the Padding of the cells and i think it could be solved, but it will be hard. How about some other functionalities of cells, like Background color or who knows else there could be. It will be very hard to implement all the functionalities of the Cell to a Template with text and Image. Again it will be very helpfull if there is other way, a way with the PdfPCell or table to solve this problem. From the number of posts with this same problem i believe that many peaple will be happy and satisfied from a solution that comes from the PdfPTable itself or its components. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Коментирай и гласувай за най-лудия фен на Rihanna! vivarihanna.zoom.bg ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
