Has anyone else seen weird behavior generating pdf's from a java webapp on Mac?
I am having the following problem:
A user generates a pdf report from within my java application on Mac OSX (note this problem does not occur on Windows). A process shows up on the menu bar named org.apache.catalina.startupBootstrap
Once this appears the user has to manually shutdown the process. This is a big deal for me because my mac users can not shutdown their machine. This sits up on the menu bar and stays there until the user quits it. Has anyone else seen this behavior? I really need to fix this but I have no idea why it happens so I don't know where to start.
Can anyone help me?
