As PDF is a PORTABLE document format, and such functionality is device DEPENDENT, there is no standard way to embed such information into a PDF. You need to know what your printer/device is looking for and then put that custom data where it wants it.

Hi,

Is it possible to specify a certain printer paper tray on a per-page basis using the iText API?

If not: Are there any tools that can do that?

Is PDF format in principle capable of holding such information within it's format?

Many thanks
Kind regards
Markus
