Looking to resolve issue with PDF sig validation for a signature created
in Acrobat 8.
Found a reference to the same problem in the list:

But hit a dead-end with any further news. I have downloaded latest BC
libs (bcprov-*-jdk15-140.jar) and ran a program to list the supported
algorithms, and SHA1with1.2.840.113549.1.1.5 is not listed.
Does anyone have any further info on this with respect to validating a
signature tied to this algorithm?
