Yes. For PDF 1.3 or earlier, the minimum page size is 72 x 72 units (1 x 1 in); the maximum is 3,240 x 3,240 units (45 x 45 in). Later versions have a minimum size of 3 x 3 units (approximately 0.04 x 0.04 in) and a maximum of 14,400 x 14,400 units (200 x 200 in). > and yet tell Adobe viewer to print this document to specific paper size > (LEGAL) > by indicating paper size within the PDF document or prepopulate print dialog > with a paper size in choice? That's difficult. Download the PDF Reference and look for viewer preferences. You'll find keys such as "PickTrayByPDFSize" demanding a boolean as value; it's a flag specifying whether the PDF page size is used to select the input paper tray. This setting influences only the preset values used to populate the print dialog presented by a PDF viewer application. If PickTrayByPDFSize is true, the check box in the print dialog associated with input paper tray is checked. But I don't see any key that allows you to tell the viewer to select a paper size. -- This answer is provided by 1T3XT BVBA http://www.1t3xt.com/ - http://www.1t3xt.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions Buy the iText book: http://www.1t3xt.com/docs/book.php
