Hi all, I wrote an extension to PdfCopyFields that allows copying formfields from one PDF to another PDF:
The source document does contain the formfields. The target PDF initially does not contain any formfields, but it may. The formfields are then put on the target PDF (actually not the target PDF itself) preserving their position. We formerly used the Adobe Acrobat to copy those fields, but it seems that if you copy them from one PDF to another the positioning isn't exactly presevered. Thus far this extension works for me, but as I wrote some unit test, I saw some minor(!?) issues that someone with deeper insight of iText and the PDF format could have a look at.
