First of all, thank for your reply and support.
But I'm new with itext, so I don't understand very well how to use your kind
suggestions.
So I have to ask you again my question changing the point of view, and I'm
sorry for this.

I have a pdf to sign (external signature), and I obtain the certificate used
to sign only after the signature operation.
It means that the signature proc returns the signature and the certificate
used.

So, what I need is an example, as more complete as possible, about the best
way to manage this situation.

//things to be done before
//external signature proc that returns cert
//things to be done after

It's not clear to me which is the best approach and an example would give me
a significant help.
Thank you.
