Buried in the description of a text field, there's an alarmingly subtle mention
that it's legal to use a Stream for a text field's value since PDF 1.5 (acrobat 
6).

I'd never seen it before.  This is the second draft of my message... the first
one was rather long-winded and Entirely Wrong.

So no, it's not a known issue.  It *IS* a bug, in iText.  Good catch.


Having said all that, why on earth are you trying to stuff that much data into a
form field?
