Hello.

I searched on the mailing list but I wasn't sure if this question has been
answered before.

We are starting a new project where a user can accessibility check their pdf.
They do this by uploading the pdf file and on a new screen we are supposed to
show if the tag tree of the pdf (if it has tags).

Is the tag tree the same thing as marked content in iText? In the examples I've
seen so far marked content was used only when creating new pdf's and not when
dealing with existing pdfs.

Does anyone have any idea where to start? Is this even possible with iText. If
not does anyone know any other software programs that I might use in order to
get this information (for example, is there a batch command I can run on an
adobe pdf to get its "accessible text"?). As long as I can get the tag tree I
shouldn't have any problem marking it up into HTML and rendering it to the
person's browser.

Thanks,

Dustin Michaels
