Hi all,
I'm evaluating iText for various possible applications in the company I
work for. The biggest area where I have questions I'd like to get some
insight into is the issue of headers and footers.
We would need to generate dynamic headers and footers that include both
text and graphic elements. I've been looking at the documentation and
the mailing list archive for some insight into how this would be done in
iText. Could I ask somebody to make a moment to either respond or point
me in the direction of the appropriate information in relation to the
following questions and observations:
1) I keep seeing references to a HeaderFooter class but I can't find any
reference to it in the API JavaDocs, or in the source code. Does this
mean that the HeaderFooter class is not part of the iText library?
Would HeaderFooter be useful for dynamic headers and footers?
2) Can Table.setHeaderRows and Table.setFooterRows be used for dynamic
headers and footers?
3) Neither of those things any good? Well, I guess I can cope with
direct content.
Insights would be gratefully received.
Cheers,
Paul.
