so choice of default font is not done by Acrobat Reader.
Do you know then what is the default text size?
iText does auto-size to fit the text to the space, min 6, max 12.
Another question : What is the difference between Layer2 text and Layer 4
one?
You'll have to read the pdf specification for the details but suffice to say
that you should only use the layer 2.
