Okay,
So loading the png from the drive directly retains the
transparency. But I can load the png into the button by using:
Button1.Image = My.Resources.Exclamation
And it retains the transparency with no problem. So the problem
isnt storing it in the Resources, I need to find a way to load the png into
iTextsharp from the Resources while retaining the transparency.

imageFile most probably doesn't have transparency anymore. Load the image
directly with iTextSharp.text.Image.GetInstance("c:\\exclamation.png").

I just noticed that the line:

Should have been
Dim iExclamation As iTextSharp.text.Image =
iTextSharp.text.Image.GetInstance(imageFile,

It still has the same problem, but I thought Id correct that before anyone
else got to it. Mondays yeeesh.
