OK, so it's really intended and is inherited from a time when Acrobat had itself this 70/30 proportion, thank you Paulo. That's right, I could use pdfSigApp.getLayer(2) and set the PdfTemplate's properties myself, but I wanted to know the reason behind this behaviour beforehand :) Thx again, and keep on the good work with iText.
