I have encountered an issue with the iTextSharp api and the newest version/format of adobe pdf. The pdf documents have form fields and appear to have created with the newest version of Acrobat. I am using iTextSharp to append multiple pfd documents together and when iTextSharp processes the new pdf I get the following message.
To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer. You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html For further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html After some research on the web it appears that all pdf parsers are encountering this issue.
