Thanks a lot for that pointer. I have gone thr' the docs pertaining to the
screen annotation and its appearance details. I have tried with the foll
snippet to have some text displayed when the media is played, but without
much success. Can you please guide if i am doing something wrong here?

mediaPath, "Suspense.wav", null);
PdfAnnotation pa = PdfAnnotation.createScreen(writer, rect, "Media
embedding", fs, "audio/x-wav", false);
