What exactly does your question "is this normal behavior?" refer to? Do you wonder if you have to locally install all certificates of the chain, even intermediary ones? No, you do not have to do that if you include those certificates in the signature container. Only the trusted roots are required. At first glance you seem to only include the signer certificate, though. Or does your question address some other issue? Regards, Michael. According to rfc [35]280 the explicitText field is a string with a maximum size of 200 characters. In your case its length is 203 characters.
