I tried this solution but I found an issue. Into the layer I can insert the text only through the method ColumnText.showTextAligned() (am I wrong?) which need to set the absolute position of the text. This method doesn't handle the lenght of the text and so it doesn't change the line if the text is longer than the line. In detail, I read some blocks of text from different files and one by one I have to put them into the pdf. I don't know how much is long each block of text so I cannot handle manually the text layout and the text's absolute position. There's a specific method to avoid this issue??
