Also silent printing is a security hazard. It was possible in the past, but Adobe fixed this in Adobe Reader to prevent printers spewing out plenty of unwanted pages when opening a document. In the past, there was also the option to provide a PostScript XObject containing platform dependent information that could be used for printers. Support for such XObjects has been discontinued because PDF is the PORTABLE Document Format. PS inside PDF made the document platform dependent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions iText(R) is a registered trademark of 1T3XT BVBA.
