There are strict rules for using FOS libraries:
1. No (A)GPL licences are allowed
2. No third party code is copied
3. FOS license like Apache and similar are allowed

Since we obey the licenses we use, we wouldn't have any problems going
through a 'due diligence' audit/process.
I am not a lawyer however I doubt, that in such an audit they would check
each third party licensed library (e.g. Apache license) line by line to
check for copyright/IP infringements of that library. This would not be *due
*diligence. They check whether e.g. a GPL based library was used and the
license was not obeyed. You went through iText line by line since it is
your library/product and you are responsible - however not a license
complying third party user...
