and is going to take control no matter what you do.
OK, but aren't you causing the indentation yourself using this line:
|p2.FirstLineIndent = indent1;
I don't really understand the question.
It's as if you think that iText detects lists based on the first character of a
paragraph (which is not the case), or as if you think that a PDF is similar to
HTML (but it isn't: every coordinate is fixed in a PDF).
