Greetings,
I am working with a dynamic XFA Form from a client. When I attempt to fill
in the form from an XML using the below sample code:
AcroFields form = stamper.getAcroFields();
XfaForm xfa = form.getXfa();
xfa.fillXfaForm(new FileInputStream(xml));
All modified fields are always correctly updated in the generated PDF except
for one specific field. This field is empty in the new Form (even though it
had a value in the original PDF). However, if I use:
AcroFields form = stamper.getAcroFields();
form.setField("stubborn_field", "New Value");
This correctly changes the field value in the generated PDF to 'New Value'.
Unfortunately, due to certain legalities with the client, I cannot attach
the dynamic XFA PDF form.
I was hoping that with your experience you could assist me with possible
reasons why this could be occuring.
Kind Regards,
Dee
