We are using itextpdf 5.3.1, but we also have itext-2.1.0 (com.lowagie) in the class path. Could that cause any issues? The pdf is valid, because the same file opens up (processed) fine when processed as single request. Mostly this issue was seen when processing scanned pdfs, and also some which were created/converted from word to pdf using a third party library.,..this generated pdf was good, was able to open in acrobat.
