The extensions to ISO-32000-1 by Adobe talk about needing to use richmedia annotations to insert h.264 video into the pdf. Adobe also states that h.264 can be played without needing an external media player after Adobe 9. I've been following section 16.3 in the book that has the examples on inserting video into pdf's, using richmedia annotations but am just not getting anywhere.
Has anyone successfully gotten an mp4 to insert into a pdf via iText and play in Adobe? I don't see what else I can be missing here but obviously, I'm missing something. In case you can't see the original thread, the code I'm using is: PdfFileSpecification fs = PdfFileSpecification.fileEmbedded(writer, targetPath.getText(), "Video", null, true); annot = PdfAnnotation.createScreen(writer, rectangle,"HIP Video", fs, "video/mp4", false); writer.addAnnotation(annot); -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/Video-in-PDFs-tp4656277p4656346.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How fast is your code? 3 out of 4 devs don\\\'t know how their code performs in production.
