1 - Yes, you can create a new PDF/A file with iText.
2 - Depends on what you mean by "manipulate".  You can manipulate a PDF/A file 
the same with you manipulate a regular PDF - however, there are no protections 
against your invalidating the PDF/A compliance.
3 - No, there is no validator in iText.

That's not the question, Michael.
In this case, can you tell the usages of the PDF/A features, beside manipulate 
information in an existing file already in that format?
What I wanted to see is the usage of the new classes (using C#) and know what 
can I do if I want to do something with those methods.
Basically view code examples of the new methods and know if we can use it with:
1- data to create a new PDF/A,
2- manipulate a PDF/A file,
3- check if a certain PDF is in the PDF/A format.

Can you tell me something about these previous points and show some examples?
