Well I tried again and again (and again ),
***********************************************************
PdfStamper stamper = new PdfStamper(reader, new FileOutputStream(dest));
PdfContentByte canvas = stamper.getOverContent(1);
Image image = Image.getInstance("pin3.png");
image.setAbsolutePosition(X1,Y1); // value of x1 and y1 are the one spitted
out at parsing pdf
canvas.addImage(image);
canvas.close();
***********************************************************
It just doesn't work, unless there is smarter way of positioning the image (
which I didnt find in book, 2nd Edition).
Anyways, then I tried it on an older version of pdf for the same map.
Pins(png images) are placed BANG ON TARGET !!
Thanks all of you for spending your time, it has improved my understandings
significantly !!
